It provides SmartLink Plus coupling to the Line-Neutral pair and the Line-Ground pair of the AC mains. It successfully reduces "dead spots", increases throughput and network coverage within a home. Surf the Internet and share data at the speed up to 1Gbps (PHY rates) through powerline, And  Built-in PoE Injector can provide 55V/48V classification power via CAT5E / CAT6.
WD-1200MH-PoE  Smart Link HomePlugAV2 engine is Qualcomm Atheros QCA7500 chip set , It features faster processing power, Fast Ethernet host interfaces and an enhanced analog front end. The solution is compliance with IEEE1901 , Homeplug AV and Homeplug AV2, hence allowing hassle free compatibility with existing Homeplug AV2 devices and other suppliers of IEEE1901 PLC (Powerline Line Communication) devices and  IEEE 802.3at /af compliant Midspan or Endpoint (Option) PSE.
